What are the ingredients to a good restaurant that will make their customers come back? Is it just the food, the service, the ambiance, or how reasonable the price are? Which factors make these restaurants leave a lasting impression to their customers?
The food, the price, the place and the service are things that people will make or break a restaurant. If customers weren’t satisfied with even one of them, it’s unlikely for them to return to that restaurant.
Gerry’s Grill has always been a favorite among my friends and I. One of the most memorable time we visited Gerry’s grill was when we celebrated one of my closest friend’s birthday party. The branch we visited was the one located at the Sky Garden at SM North EDSA, and so far was the best among those other branches we have ever tried. So let me talk about their good points first.
First, I like the simple interior design of the place. I don’t feel that it’s crowded unlike the other branches. Tables and chairs aren’t placed too close to the others so you can still move freely and wouldn’t worry about hitting the chairs of the next tables and inconveniencing them at the same time.
Second, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were a group of 12 at that time, and we even have a kid along with us, and we had so many requests that we kept on calling them to get this and that. Nevertheless, they were attentive and could still serve their customers with a smile despite the number of orders and requests from other customers as well.
And third, their food, personally, I would say, was delectable and would indeed suit the Filipino taste. I’m not good at cooking and am quite a picky eater, which perhaps made me, according to those around me, eat like at bird. But when I’m at Gerry’s, my appetite never seems to trouble me. I haven’t tried all their dishes yet, but the top three food I would recommend most to those who wanted to try eating at Gerry’s would be sisig, kare-kareng baka and seafood rice.
Most of my friends thought sisig was one of their best disches yet perhaps becausep it is among the Filipino favorites which it suits their taste well. As for the kare-kareng baka, I believe Gerry’s was able to make the perfect sauce for it, although I’m not sure if the beef was the best among those I have tried so far. The seafood rice is my personal favorite. If there’s only one food that I could keep ordering and could have one order for myself at Gerry’s, it would be seafood rice. The taste is indeed palatable that even the thought of it makes my mouth water. The ingredients go well together, and it creates a whole new taste for me or perhaps, since it’s not everyday I could eat something like this, it left such an impression on me.
Here are foods the we enjoy from their menus.
Chicken Lollipop –
Garlic Adobo Shreds-Binudbod
Spicy Chicken wings
Sinigang na Hipon
Sinigang na Bangus Belly
Inihaw na Pusit
For my friends and I, Gerry’s Grill is not only a place to enjoy food, but a place where we share priceless moments. I believe it’s important for a restaurant to be a place where family, friends, and even colleagues gather around a table to celebrate the moment of being together, moments where each smilesand laughter would warm up not only the place but each other’s heart as well. Because people do not only value money but also memories, I think these are ingredients that make people come back to certain restaurants.
