Yabu is Value for your Money

ㅓ

Yabu is one of the most popular Japanese restaurants.  A lot of people who want to eat tonkatsu often go to this restaurant. I also prefer this restaurant, and I go there at least once every two weeks.  Here are some reasons why I recommend Yabu.

One reason is that their service is excellent. Their service makes us happy and comfortable. For instance, when I enter the restaurant, they always welcome me and never fail to smile.  Moreover, while people are eating their food, they are very alert, often looking at all of the tables to see if some people need more food since some of their servings are unlimited.  For example, as soon as I eat all my cabbage salad or miso soup, they refill immediately such. That’s why I feel this restaurant has great service.

Apart from their service, this place maintains a clean and fresh environment.  I actually asked them about their sanitation, and the employees told me that they always wash their hands, and when they leave work, they always clean up the facilities.  Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed that the floor had no signs of dirt, and it was even polished. On the other hand, other restaurants don’t clean meticulously, and sometimes, even the drinking glass is dirty with spots, at some popular restaurants.  Yabu definitely maintains a clean and fresh environment.

untitledMost importantly, the reason why people prefer Yabu is its delicious food.  They make their katsus  with fresh and qualitative meat.  In all my experiences eating katsus, Yabu’s is definitely one of the best flavors and textures.  The meat is tender and not dry, unlike other restaurants that serve katsu.  There is also a very different experience because you have to mix your own katsu sauce by grinding the black sesame seed on your own.  Also, the katsu is in harmony with the rice, sauce ,and salad. It is not only a good flavor for Asians but also for a lot of foreigners.

Yabu definitely offers value for your money: clean with good service and delicious servings.  Each dish cause around Php 300 to Php 500, but you never feel cheated.  For these reasons, I highly recommend  Yabu when it comes to Japanese food.

That’s a pointed observation, Mr. Apolo. Yabu really is less greasy than most others. It has made me a big fan of katsu, also. In addition, the unlimited miso soup is a big plus for me!

Yes, I totally agree with you both, @edmondapoloaiep:disqus and @mikerowlandaiep:disqus. There are many things we always have to consider in terms of taste of preferences when it comes to fine-dining. Apart from the ambiance, their comfy seats, sanitation, for me it’s the unlimited cabbage salad! It just complements everything, and I can’t get enough of it! Yabu will always be one of my top best picks on my list. 🙂
