Highlights of Qualification
Chris has always been interested IN the English language. His training started at a young age of six. He was an elocution and declamation champion from the second grade until he finished his bachelor’s course. He was the Filipino editor for his high school alma mater, Ateneo De Cagayan De Oro, and the editor-in-chief of the Portal, his college newspaper.
Chris started working in the business process outsource (BPO) industry since 2004. He started as sales executive and became a debt collector by 2006. In 2009, he had the opportunity to teach values formation to high school students in three public schools while using English as a means to communicate with the students. In 2010-2012, Chris became a communications trainer for an international sales center in Thailand. After this, he became an English specialist for the prestigious American Institute for English Proficiency. Chris also was one of the foundation skills trainer which focuses on inculcating culture and communications to all incoming employees call center agents.
Chris loves to explore his talents. He was a child actor and had been in three Hollywood movies when he was young. During that time, he was nominated as Best Child Stage Performer at the Aliw Awards. His interests grew and became one of his school’s representatives in the areas of writing (3rd place, District level, 1990), Arts (10th place, Inter-school competition, 1990), and Caricature (3rd place, District Level, 4th Place NCR, 1990-1991).
He is also a bassist and can play the drums, keyboards, and guitar. He was also a video editor, script writer, and a production staff for a Canadian cable show (2010-2012). On top of all that, he has been an avid hip hop dancer since 1995; his dance community, Sinag, is one of the largest dance communities in the northern part of Manila.
He is also involved in volunteer works aimed for the betterment of the youth of the Philippines. His passion in inspiring people in both corporate and secular settings has been evident through his invitations to conduct inspirational talks to Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and some parts of Luzon.
